One of the biggest fears aspiring authors have is rejection. And that fear is very real, with many writers facing rejection from literary agents upon querying or from readers post self-publishing.

So, in the cosy autumn of 2019, Chelsea launched Stand Corrected Editing to give authors an all-round editorial experience, offering a range of book editing packages & services.

Chelsea graduated with a Bachelor's degree (Hons) in English Literature and Language and has since completed editorial training with CIEP (Chartered Institute of Editing & Publishing).

In her spare time, Chelsea enjoys watching the latest period drama or fantasy series (a few of her favourites include Merlin, Vikings, Poldark and The Hobbit), playing open-world video games (she loves Dragon Age: Inquisition, The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim and Assassin's Creed: Origins), and rewatching her favourite episodes of Doctor Who. She can also be found with her nose in a good book, and her favourite genres include high fantasy, historical fiction - particularly in medieval settings, and science fantasy, though she also loves the gothic genre, horror and romance.
